Paul Jurgens

Paul was a great guy to work with and always had a good sense of humor. He was a world class practical joker and I was often a victim of his pranks. He would put ads for the Miracle Ear in my mailbox and sit across from my desk when I went through my mail in the morning and had a good laugh at my expense.
I remember a time when he needed a new boiler for his house which cost $2,300 that he didn't have. Paul decided to play his shield number in the lottery and as luck would have it it came out straight and he won $ 2,600.
The Shield number was 1042 for anyone who's a gambler. Paul took a job with the police academy so he could spend more time with his wife and three children. He was on his way to the police academy for a meeting on 9/11 when the first plane hit the World Trade Center
& he diverted to the WTC. to help with the rescue.
Rest in peace Paulie you're not forgotten.
