Reply: My dad

He built our home faster then most people can get permits. The fire was in December and we were moving into it in June. My brother Bobby helped A LOT and in return got the biggest bedroom. Sadly my dad only enjoyed his house for a little over a year. He helped everyone no matter what they needed. I followed him to every fire department class, training and seminar he went to. By the time I was 18 and joined the merrick Fd he had thought me so much I was confident I could do my job. Life goes by fast. To us a lot is bitter sweet. It’s great that you did whatever you did, but it would be better if he were here. A true hero and my idol. Wish you were here to see me now pops
